Wisconsin's Water Library

It was standing room only on April 5 in the Department of Special Collections at the UW–Madison Memorial Library. Dr. Christopher Baruth (above right) presented a history of the U.S. Lake Survey as part of “Making Maps, Mapping History,” a Special Collections exhibit co-sponsored by UW Sea Grant. Baruth is curator of the American Geographical Society Library, UW-Milwaukee, which contributed 26 maps to the exhibit. The exhibit runs through June 29.
